Diploma Dissertation. Hardcopy publication A5/210 pages. Grade 10/10
This thesis dissertation explores the latent Modernity of the 1890 – 1935s Manhattan using Latour’s notion of “Modern Constitution”. Its aim is to emancipate Manhattan from the indictments of the “self-regarding Modern” Le Corbusier and to declare it Modern through the introduction of the term of “process” of modernity.

July 2014 ‘Architectus Verborum: an approach through Terragni’s Danteum’
10th Semester Research concerning the relationship between texts and the discipline of architecture. Aim of the paper is the examination of the appliance of the theory demonstrated at the beginning (concerning the texts’ power to give birth to architecture) to an outstading example, that of the Danteum Project. Through this approach, a small – but nevertheless important- disagreement with Thomas L. Schumacher (author of ‘Terragni’s Danteum’) and Aarati Kanekar (’From building to poem and back: the Danteum as a study in the projection of meaning across symbolic forms’, College DAAP, University of Cincinnati, Ohio 45221, USA – Ph.D.) emerges, which better clarifies my personal opinion.
Supervisor: Dr. Nikolaos – Ion Terzoglou
